One practitioner. The right tools.

Manual osteopathy is at the center of Ghassan’s approach. When another therapy could help with your movement, recovery, or goals, he can incorporate it into your treatment.

Manual osteopathy for the neck and shoulders

Foundation

Manual osteopathy

A whole-body approach to better movement.

Pain or stiffness in one area can be connected to how other parts of your body are moving. Ghassan looks at how your joints, muscles, fascia, and movement work together to understand what may be contributing to the problem.

Treatment is hands-on and tailored to what he finds during your assessment. Depending on your needs, it may include joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and soft-tissue work to improve movement and reduce discomfort.

Manual osteopathy may be used for ongoing pain, stiffness, restricted movement, TMJ concerns, and other musculoskeletal issues.

How an osteopathy visit works
Fascial Stretch Therapy for the neck and shoulder

Targeted therapy

Fascial Stretch Therapy

Assisted stretching for easier movement.

FST uses gentle, assisted movements and stretches to work with the joints and surrounding connective tissue. Ghassan may incorporate it when tightness or restricted mobility is affecting how comfortably you move.

It can be particularly useful when the goal is to improve flexibility, range of motion, or movement during activity and recovery.

Instrument-assisted treatment of the calf

Targeted therapy

Graston Technique

Targeted treatment for tight or restricted soft tissue.

Graston uses specialized instruments to work on muscles, fascia, and other soft tissues. Ghassan may incorporate it when an area of tight or restricted tissue appears to be contributing to discomfort or limited movement.

It is used alongside the broader treatment plan rather than as a standalone approach. Ghassan is a Graston Technique Specialist (GTS) with M2 Advanced training.

Other tools Ghassan may use

You bring the problem. Ghassan decides which tools make sense. These may be added when they support your treatment.

Targeted therapy

Acupuncture / dry needling

Fine needles may be used when muscle tightness, trigger points, or recovery could benefit from needling alongside hands-on work.

Targeted therapy

Formthotics

An in-clinic option for some foot and load-related concerns when support under the foot may help how you move.

Targeted therapy

Exercise therapy & mobility

You may leave with a short, specific movement or mobility drill based on what you need that day.

Supporting tools

Cupping, ultrasound, laser & TENS

These may be used as supporting modalities when appropriate. They are not automatically part of every visit.

“I had been to a chiropractor and a physiotherapist for back pain and bad posture. Ghassan has a different approach with different treatments that eased my pain. I walked out feeling energetic, with a straighter posture. I would recommend him to anyone.”
