From the pool to the treatment table
As a former professional water polo player, Ghassan developed a deep knowledge of sports performance and injury prevention. He later coached competitive water polo teams in Syria and Ukraine, and has a particular interest in swimming- and water polo-related injuries, including the shoulders, spine, and the demands that come with years of training.
That experience also shapes how he works with people who are not athletes, from children to seniors. The goal is the same: understand what the body needs to do, what is getting in the way, and how to help restore movement.
“I went to see Ghassan with one injury in mind, but his whole-body approach was thorough and showed he understands the connections. His variety of expertise really showed, and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
