Look at the whole system
A sore spot may not be the only thing limiting your movement.
Ottawa · Manual Osteopathy · FST · Graston
Hands-on treatment for pain, stiffness, and restricted movement. With 20+ years of experience, Ghassan combines manual osteopathy and targeted therapies to understand what’s limiting your movement and treat the underlying problem.
If you are stiff, in pain, or stuck after trying other approaches, Ghassan starts by looking at how you move and what may be limiting you.
The Ghassan Osteopathy approach
Your symptoms do not always tell the whole story. Osteopathy looks at how joints, muscles, fascia, and movement work together.
Ghassan assesses your history, movement, and goals, then adapts treatment to what your body needs that day.
A sore spot may not be the only thing limiting your movement.
Sessions use manual techniques selected for your presentation and tolerance.
Treatment changes with your sport, work, recovery, history, and goals.
Ghassan's work with movement started through sport. He played water polo professionally, coached competitive teams in Syria and Ukraine, and earned a Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sport from Ukraine in 1998.
A passion for learning led him further into healthcare and rehabilitation. Today he brings more than 20 years of experience across manual osteopathy, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and related therapies. His goal is to help people restore movement, reduce pain, and work toward optimal health and performance.
You do not need to know which therapy you need. Tell Ghassan what is going on.
Hands-on assessment and treatment for movement restrictions, pain, stiffness, and soft-tissue dysfunction. For chronic pain and jaw (TMJ) problems, Ghassan may use muscle energy techniques, joint mobilization, and soft-tissue work.
Assisted stretching that uses breathing, traction, and pain-free joint movement, with gentle muscle contractions, to improve flexibility and ease muscle tension. Benefits may include better mobility, strength, balance, and postural alignment.
Instrument-assisted treatment for selected tendon and soft-tissue problems. Ghassan is a Graston Technique Specialist (GTS).
Used when muscle guarding, trigger points, or recovery may benefit from needling alongside manual work.
A quicker in-clinic alternative to traditional custom orthotics for some foot-mechanics and load-related issues.
You may leave with a short, specific movement or mobility drill based on what you need.
A supporting modality when it may help with soft-tissue tension.
